For the 98th Giro d'Italia, raced 9-31 May over 21 legs, Bepin De Eto chose to support Team Lampre Merida, the well-known cycling squad created in 2005 following the merger of Saeco with the old Lampre. The Giro offered numerous opportunities for raising glasses of Bepin De Eto still or sparkling wines to toast the team's fantastic results. Jan Polac won the 5th leg, La Spezia-Abetone; Diego Ulissi won the 7th, Grosseto-Fiuggi; while Sacha Modolo was the first to cross the line in the 13th, Montecchio-Jesolo, and 17th, Tirano-Lugano. The whole Bepin De Eto family is proud to have accompanied Team Lampre Merida on this extraordinary adventure and wishes its champions the same success in their future challenges.
